Driven by the love and fascination of the working line Border Collie, we took a break from our boarding program in 2021-2023 to traveling and develop our breeding program. We met with different breeders across the US and Canada to find what mattered most to us as ethical and responsible breeders.
We fully health test including genetics and OFA (thyroid, heart, patellas, hips, basic heart, spine, elbows, shoulders). We guarantee that you will not only get a temperamentally stable border collie, but that they will also be well bred and structurally sound puppy if you decide to purchase from us.
We do prefer to meet with all of our buyers prior to placing a puppy when locationally appropriate. We also offer flight nanny services for those that are out of state including Hawaii. Nathan is the one who does all the flight nanny services for our program. We prefer our puppies fly in as a carryon than shipped as cargo.

What you can expect when buying a puppy from our program
We love chatting and meeting with potential buyers to make sure everyone is educated about what to look for in a reputable breeder and knows the origins of the breed. When buying from us, you can rest assured knowing your puppy is as healthy as possible within limitations of current OFA exams, genetic profiling, other health testing such as BAER and CAER testing.
Only one of four puppies/ adults that come into our program are entered in our program after their first two years of testing. We run rigorous working ability, temperament, and health testing. We only breed dogs that are free and clear of any common collie genetic abnormalities (such as MDR1, CEA, TNS, etc.). Short of a previous injury, we only keep dogs in our program that have been OFA systems testing come out as normal or non-clinical. These tests cannot be done, unless preliminary on dogs younger than 24 months of age. We test for patellar laxation, degenerative shoulder joint disease, thyroid disease, congenital or acquired heart disease, elbow dysplasia, hip dysplasia; and lastly test the lumbar, cervical, and thoracic spine for anything that may pass on to puppies. We test both parents of each litter.
Meet our breeding Stock
Skye is one of our active studs in our program. He was originally bred in Saskatchewan, Canada to be able to withstand the harsh working winters of the region. After his early retirement from working cattle due to a jaw and shoulder injury, he came to us in 2024. He now enjoys running through the open fields of our property and enjoys the weather of the Pacific Northwest. He is as gracious and strong as he is gorgeous. His weight comes on the heavier side that show in his puppies, at 55 pounds.

We keep all the pups that are retired from our program
Cara is the “grandma” of the program. And while she has been retired for a while, she still has a very motherly instinct towards all of our puppies. Cara is extremely friendly and loves being brought out to meet new families. She is the mother of our Anastasia and Aphrodite that now enjoy retirement with her. When she isn’t napping and resting in her elderly age, she enjoys sunbathing, and running around in circles as she stalks our large chicken enclosure with her daughter Moka.
